Functional Medicine

Typically, Chiropractic members are advised to implement lifestyle changes consistent with the foundational principles of Functional Medicine. Similarly, in most cases, Functional Medicine members are recommended to receive Chiropractic Care.

Prices for Functional Medicine are unique to each case and based on the doctor’s time. The basic protocol steps are listed below. There is no concierge-type (annual or otherwise) care cost. The initial exam is the same as the NP fee above, plus the cost of additional time spent reviewing patient medical records and history.

• Diagnostic lab costs are passed through at doctor’s cost without markup
• Functional Medicine program of care typically includes:
  • Free Consultation (by web, phone or in person)
  • Examination and review of medical history
  • Foundational Assessment lab test panel
  • Report of findings with initial lifestyle, nutritional, etc. recommendations
  • Limited re-testing after 3 months or so
  • Progress evaluation with re-test findings report.
    • Advanced functional testing based on persistent issues.
    • Recommendations for nutritional or functional supplements or other lifestyle changes.
